Thank you for becoming a part of Avenue Bowls Club! Whether you’re a Casual Member or a Full Bowling Member, we’re excited to have you on board. Here’s some key information to enhance your experience at our vibrant club.
Bowling Essentials
Clubhouse Hours:
- Weekdays: 18:30 onwards (bowling season)
- Sundays: 12:00 – 16:00 (rest of the year)
Playing Opportunities:
Casual Members: can participate in internally organized games and competitions.
Full Bowling Members: can participate in all internally and externally organised games and competitions.
Changes for the 2025 Season
- Avenue Bowls Club, is now no longer using Bowlr nor will it have an online based rink booking system. The club will resort to the traditional method of a diary.
- A new members list will be generated at the start of the season, and posted here. Please ensure that you have agreed to the GDPR statement on your members profile page.
- Every Friday night will be a Club Night, where all members of all categories are encouraged to come to the club and enjoy the sport we all love. There will be plenty of competitions and prizes up for grabs.

Qualified Coaches:
- The club and its coaches are committed to supporting both new and existing members. For that reason every Saturday morning from 10am to 11am there will be coaching provided by our qualified club coaches; Chris Poole and John Hughes.
