We’re absolutely thrilled to share the incredible success of our Avenue Bowlers at the Mark Wilson Pairs Tournament held at Essex County Bowls Club in Southend over the weekend! 
Amidst intense competition, our teams showcased their skill, determination, and true sportsmanship, making us proud to be part of such a talented and spirited community!
Here’s a recap of the phenomenal performances by our teams:
Team One – Pink Flamingos (Adam Smith & Luke Horne):Despite a tough loss in the quarter-finals against the reigning champions, Adam and Luke displayed exceptional talent, winning their first three games and leaving a lasting impression on the greens!
Team Two – Bottle Men (Chris Poole & Mark Smith):Facing an initial setback, Chris and Mark fought back with unparalleled resilience, dominating the plate competition and clinching victory in a thrilling final against Charlie Souter. What a remarkable comeback!
Team Three – The Hippies (Daniel Ellicott & Aiden Maries):Daniel and Aiden dazzled everyone with their attire and flawless performance, winning all their games and reaching the final! In a nail-biting showdown against the formidable duo of Ed Morris and Joe Dawson, they showcased incredible skill and determination, narrowly missing out on victory in a tiebreaker set! What a heart-stopping finale!
